Therapy and Medication
Every city has a mental health treatment center to help with overcoming social anxiety. The mental health facility will provide you with a therapist that will go over your family history and things that may have happened in the past that could be causing the social anxiety.
Medication with therapy may be needed with some patients. Beta blockers are used to block adrenaline which occurs when someone is feeling anxious. Anti-depressants such as Paxil and Benzodiazepines are used in treatment for phobias.
